ICC BIRMINGHAM

The Brief

A leading international manufacturing company was looking to host its 500 employees for a development and learning conference at the ICC in Birmingham. As well as provide team bonding opportunities and award the work of employees, it wanted to discuss the future of the company’s growth through talks and lectures in multiple work spaces and bring to life the day-to-day elements of work.

The Delivery

The production team created fun, bespoke staging and interactive activities to enhance learning. These included an Alice in Wonderland themed area with actors to promote themes of diversity and inclusion, a life-size shop to bring to life the work of a salesman, bespoke food stalls, and a Big Brother style ‘Diary Room’. Our technical team provided crystal clear audio and high definition video on the main stage and in 10 additional breakout spaces.

The Inside Story

It wasn’t all hard work for the employees of the company. The conference turned into a funfair for the ultimate teambuilding activities with photobooths, a helter-skelter, dodgems, a dance floor, arcade games, glitter face painting and, at the end of the night, live music from Soul Brothers and DJ sets from Scott Mills and DJ Laura-Jean to ensure everyone left the event on a high.
