The Brief
London’s great and good of the world's of art, fashion and music were gathered once again at the annual V&A Summer Party, in partnership with Harrods. The museum entrusted Event Concept to produce this celebration for the third year in a row.
Our brief was to produce a stylish evening befitting of the British creativity being celebrated and to create a sculptural statement for the new entrance via the recently opened Exhibition Road Quarter.
The Delivery
Incorporating elements from the sponsors iconic Harrod's store throughout the design, we created a 3m x 4m V&A logo to greet guests which included the bulbs that famously decorate the world-renowned store's exterior.
Within the sunlit courtyard of the John Madejski Garden we provided full event production which included bespoke bars and food stations, technical production and building a stage in the central pond for a series of exciting performances.
The Inside Story
The event was attended by a star-studded guest list including Bianca Jagger, Brooklyn Beckham, Ciara, Princess Beatrice, Zadie Smith, and artist Grayson Perry. Lady Mary Charteris warmed up the crowd with a DJ set, before Tom Grennan performed on the floating stage.
