We partnered with immersive event pioneer The House of Gastrophonic, Diageo Reserve’s World Class and Kofler & Kompanie, to present ‘Unexpected Connections’. The award-winning concept by Gastrophonic explores the relationship between flavour, sound and colour across a four-way pairing of cuisine and cocktails.
The Magazine Restaurant in London’s Hyde Park provided the perfect setting for this showcase of innovative design and technical precision. Masterfully coordinated, the evening combined a multitude of elements, including a dynamic light show and a soundtrack designed by Jon Klein for Gastrophonic.
An entertaining backdrop for networking and team building occasions, this upscale multi-sensory event offers guests a unique shared experience. With the atmosphere evolving theatrically over the course of the evening, Unexpected Connections takes corporate entertainment to new heights.
The evening saw four serves from ‘Smoke’ – deep rhythms in red - to ‘Citrus’ – ambient crescendos in indigo. Diageo Reserve’s World Class GB Bartender of the Year 2016, Aidan Bowie, created four exclusive cocktails to match a range of Kofler & Kompanie canapes from 'Dry Aged Beef Tartare, Smoked Beetroot & Tarragon', to 'Ivoire Chocolate, Brown Butter Financier & Pomelo'.
