The Challenge

For the fourth year running, we worked with a leading online accounting platform to produce their annual client conference, this year held as a fully virtual event.

Staying true to the ethos of the live event, our brief was to create the same high quality, creative and seamless experience their loyal base of attendees expect from the annual event, all within the confines of lockdown restrictions and with over 30 speakers presenting remotely.

Planned, produced and delivered within a three month period ultra-high quality video content and seamless technical production were essential.

Our Response

Over a four week period our multi-skilled team managed, directed and recorded all speakers fully remotely in HD. We shipped multi-camera home record set ups across the UK, Europe and US to each speakers' doorstep, which we remotely controlled to capture the live records, along with providing speaker coaching and presentation direction.

We transformed the recorded footage with a rigorous editing and post-production process, enhancing the finished edits with graphics and different camera angles to create 38 sessions which were all played back ‘as live’ at the event. The sessions spanned everything from product demos, sponsor sessions and internal and external keynotes, all meticulously produced for a discerning and engaged audience of accountants and small business owners.

The Experience

We streamed all sessions from our virtual event facility, utilising six of our Master Control Rooms and a dedicated, enterprise grade internet connection with triple failover capacity ensured absolute reliability.

Six individual crew teams worked in isolated bubbles, following rigorous Covid procedures to deliver the 12 hour continuous event.

Guests enjoyed the day long experience on a bespoke and fully branded event platform, where they could select between the Main Stage and four Breakout streams. The platform allowed interaction and networking to ensure high engagement levels throughout the day, along with on-demand features for any sessions that were missed live.
