To kick off Brand Licensing Europe 2019, Mattel hosted an immersive event to introduce new product launches to its partners, such as its flagship kids’ brand Barbie.
Taking over the unique, urban venue Studio Spaces in East London, guests were invited to celebrate all things Barbie in a 70s-inspired evening of disco mania, glitter and vibrant colour.
Our team transformed the blank-canvas venue into a fun-filled evening. Bright neon lights, metallic baubles, block colours and canapés decorated with plumes of feathers, created an exciting and fresh aesthetic.
It wasn’t all fun and games, though. Under the theme of different Mattel products, we created additional conference spaces, with sleek conference seating, audio and video, for talks about new brand initiatives.
It’s all in the details. A troupe of young dancers performed a contemporary dance routine dressed in the Barbie fashion line, while a young DJ sounded out tunes from a glossy music booth.
Guests were seen having just as much fun as the kids, joining in the dancing, playing retro arcade games filled with prizes, and driving Barbie’s remote-controlled car.
