By choosing a superb historic location for your celebrations, you bring the echoes of the people and events that have shaped it through the centuries, to give your day a deeper, more meaningful quality. Eltham Palace was the childhood home of Henry VIII in the early 16th century, before he grew up to become perhaps our most notorious king. Ceremonies may take place in the domed Entrance Hall where the unique circular layout offers a truly memorable experience of up to 100 guests. For larger numbers, the medieval Great Hall offers a more traditional, church-like feel for up to 200 guests. Drinks receptions may take place in the stunning Art Deco suite of rooms on the ground floor, or in the beautiful landscaped gardens overlooking the moat, before guests enter the majestic Great Hall for dinner and dancing at a maximum number of 200.
