The Brief

Marc Jacobs Beauty, the luxury make-up brand from iconic designer Marc Jacobs, were set to gather 50 key staff in London for an inspirational internal conference. The brand turned to Event Concept for full event production, including venue sourcing. The brief was to create a stylish event, inspired by the raw, urban, New York background of the brand, that also could be delivered with seamless technical precision.


The Delivery

The East London creative and cultural hub Village Underground was chosen to host the conference. The industrial warehouse space fitted the brief perfectly and was styled with monochrome event elements to fit the brands striking look. We arrived at 2am to install lighting, audio, branded staging, draping and furniture all ready for guests to arrive at 8am for a full day of brand training and gaining product knowledge.

The Response

The successful internal conference was delivered seamlessly by our technical experts from start to finish. The various design and styling elements were lauded by the client, with them commenting particularly on how impressed they were with how the end project matched the original visuals.
