Hey! Can you tell us a bit about your role?

Hello there! My role as Project Manager within Production takes me across all areas within the business. I ensure departmental project tasks are completed, operational processes are complied with and all data is accurate as possible in order to produce events of the highest quality. It’s a fantastically eclectic role fizzing with variety, at its best when onsite seeing the creative planning come to vibrant life.

I love the events industry because of the stunning, often awe-inspiring, venues packed with history that we’re lucky enough to work in and the variety of events we operate within them.

Prior to joining Event Concept, what did you do?

I was working in Adventure Travel, specialising in operations and project event management enabling people to travel overseas on bespoke itineraries. The travelers would journey through challenging environments and remote locations, visit iconic sites and experience the diverse culture and rich tapestry of local life on the path seldom walked.

What piece of advice would you give to someone looking to work in Events?

No matter what your background if you have transferable skills, boundless energy and want the variety and buzz of the events industry, there’s a role for you!

When you’re not working, where would we likely find you?

Currently, as I have recently moved flats, your best bet would be to try any branch of B&Q in South East London! Although a more enjoyable place I like to spend time is Borough Market, grazing on the delectable fare on sale.
