NATURAL HISTORY MUSEUM, HINTZE HALL
Believe in Magic is an extraordinary charitable organisation spreading magic to terminally ill children and their families. So when they called on us to help them host a Cinderella Ball for 300 VIP guests, we were determined to conjure up something truly special. As the evening would be completely focused around the children that the charity helps, nothing less than the most enchanting experience would do.
Massive thanks to @EventConcept & @NHM_VenueHire for the perfect service & venue.
The Natural History Museum held the fairy tale style ball in August 2015. The children and their families walked up a lantern-lit red carpet in bespoke outfits created by Little Beven and Ralph Lauren. Guests were led to a Champagne and Canapé Reception where they were entertained by world-renowned magician Dynamo. As dinner was called, the children descended the main staircase into our Cinderella-inspired setting.
The evening was hosted by the charity’s ambassador, One Direction’s Louis Tomlinson, with fellow band member Liam Payne by his side. This resulted in social media mayhem, global trending and over 2 million tweets. The post-event buzz was long-lasting, with daily retweets of images appearing months later – not only showcasing the VIP guests but also the magical setting we had created.
...a massive THANK YOU for being so generous with your services for the event and for your unyielding patience, expertise and professionalism during the whole process with Believe in Magic.
Event Concept produced the ball, providing lighting, audio, video, staging and dressing, with Veevers Carter creating magical floral arrangements. Between the beautifully lit columns, guests discovered a photo booth, a face painting team and princes and princesses from Hamleys who interacted with the children. Create Food provided an impressive dinner, whilst X Factor winner Ben Haenow serenaded the audience.
Introducing the experts, specialists and technicians that made this event spectacular. Their precision and attention to detail is what made this event successful.
